The Academy Director will be responsible for facilitating the activities, developing policies and administering educational programs related to the operation of an organized summer program.
Certified Teacher-We are seeking educators certified for elementary and/or middle level education. These teachers will be responsible for implementing the standards-based Academy curriculum and communicating student progress to families. Teachers will also be responsible for supervising a classroom paraprofessional.
Paraprofessional (Teacher’s Aide)-We are seeking pre-service teachers interested in working alongside certified teachers to implement a standards-based curriculum. Academy paraprofessionals will aid teachers in their instructional responsibilities at the Academy.
Paraprofessional (Administrative Assistant)-We are seeking pre-service teachers and persons with clerical experience to fill this position. This Academy paraprofessional will be responsible for answering the phone, planning field trips, maintaining an organized administrative office, and other duties assigned by the Academy Director.
The General Volunteer position is a non-paid position. This role entails supporting the Summer Academy director and staff as needed. The wonderful thing about this position is it's flexibility. We know everyone may not be able to commit a full day, so we will work with you as you work with us. Apply today!
